We have lots of exciting sledding hills on our property. The sledding is done with "Valdresmatta".
Alpine resort a few hundred metres away from the camp school. Slopes for beginners and more experienced. Alternatively stone grinding and balancing line. The choice this day is either alpine or stone grinding and balancing line.
We have installed three balancing lines above a gorge with different difficulties. 10 minutes away from Brennabu by foot.
Stories around the fire in our wooden lavvu.
Different exercises and tasks. Teamwork is mandatory for succeeding, maybe with someone you don’t know that well.

Biking in the show, A special nature experience.

Different mountain tops suitable for everyone.
Temperature/wind, avalanche, safety.
Learn to navigate digitally.
We build like the eskimoes. The pupils will be taught in creating blocks.
We create bon fires.
Potato "lefse" from a recipe from Valdres.
Map and map symbols. The pupils get to try to find posts in the terrain.
We gain ski experience through games
We look at animal tracks and make a bon fire.
Basking in the snow
An old means of transport. Trip in the close area.
From grey stone to jewellery. The stones are roughly sanded, finely sanded and polished. Introduction in minerals and rock types.
We head out into the deep snow, exploring the nature.
The pupils create a water rocket, and they get to fire it. A lot of science and research.
Skiing trip made suitable for each pupil. We have a trail network 140 km long, with both long and short circuits. We may also reach one of the many mountain peaks surrounding Vaset.

Alpine day is offered during the winter season - in January, February, March and April.

The activities are dependent on the weather and conditions. The pupils’ safety will always be our main priority. We continuously improve our program, meaning that changes may occur.
At the camp school the pupils may sleep outside. We prepare for this, but the guest teacher shall be responsible during the night. We have class kits with hammocks, sleeping mats and a tarp, and we can help prepare a hammock camp. In addition to this we also have a wooden lavvu with room for spending the night. The pupils must bring their own sleeping bag.
