The mouse ears pop out in the spring, and the leaves turns yellow in the autumn. A time for great experiences and wondering in the nature. Maybe we will see a grouse or a moose during a mountain hike? From June to September the mountains at Vaset are populated by grazing animals. We plan so that the pupils can get to know the unique farming culture in Valdres.
We learn to dress correctly, to respect the flora and fauna, and to hike in the mountains. There are also many other exciting things to learn and try out - perhaps exceeding your own limits.
The activities are adjusted according to weather and conditions. The safety of the pupils will always have the highest priority. We continuously work with the activity program, meaning that changes may occur.

Pack your lunch
Help with the packing yourself, so you know what you are bringing. At the camp school we go outside in all weather, so it’s important that you bring clothing for both cold weathers, and the wind. Think wisely, not fashionable.
We have two webcams here at Brennabu showing our area. It can be wise to look at these to see how the weather is up here. Especially during the transition between winter and spring, and autumn and winter.
