True to traditions, Brennabu welcomes you to this year's wilderness school. In 2024, this will take place in week 26, the week after school ends. Registration form can be found below on this page.
The wilderness school at Brennabu is held in cooperation with Valdres Friluftsråd. For 5 days, you who are between 10 and 13 years old can join exciting activities between 10.15 and 15.45 o’clock. The times are set up to match the bus times for corresponding bus lines. Experienced activity leaders will take you on for example archery, canoeing, mountain expeditions, balancing lines, stone grinding and much more.
You will learn to set up a rest stop or a camp site, get a basic understanding of maps and learn about the freedom of roaming. The last day we will make it possible to sleep in a tent or a lavvu for those who wish to do so. Adults who want to join are more than welcome to. Those not wanting to sleep outside must be picked up no later than 21.30 Thursday evening.
